am I right or am I wrong in what I did?

I was browsing on some of the art here, and fell onto a piece that I did not like.

actually, it's not that I did not like it. but I thought it was cheap. (but I still don't like it).

what I mean by that is the difference between a nice nude glamour photo versus a photo of a drunken 21-year-old showing her boobs at spring break..

you know, gratuitous.. without inherent value as art...

so I saw it, though for a second, then posted a comment on which I said I did not think what the person had done was art (for that piece).

Now I wonder. I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. and that art is as well. but I'm thinking about where the line is drawn.. And I'm unsure whether my comment was appropriate..
